FAQs
When does the series start?
The Hybrid Challenge starts when you do! Your Week 1 workouts will be available in the app on Sunday, June 8th ET.
What equipment do I need?
Throughout this challenge, you’ll complete 3x full body workouts per week and run on the days in between.
FULL BODY WORKOUTS:
This challenge includes a combination of minimal equipment workouts that can be completed at home or in a gym. We recommend having access to:
- 1 lighter set of dumbbells (5-10 lbs)
- 1 heavier set of dumbbells (15-30 lbs)
- Non-slip resistance bands (get ours here)
- Exercise mat
- Bench / box*
*NOTE: if you don’t have a bench or box, you can swap this for a firm, stable piece of furniture 1-2’ off the ground. Here’s the bench we use, plus a similar one that ships faster.
RUNNING:
Your running workouts will be provided by effort and time, rather than pace and distance so you can adapt this to your specific needs. We recommend having access to:
- Supportive running shoes
- Some way of timing your workouts (e.g. stopwatch, phone, treadmill clock)
What if I’m already a subscriber to the ANDA app?
If you’re already a subscriber, this challenge is included in your subscription and you’ll get access on Sunday, June 8th.
Can I start at a later date?
Yes! The Hybrid Challenge will remain available in the ANDA app.
When will I get access to the challenge workouts?
Your Week 1 workouts will be available in the app on Sunday, June 8th ET with challenge workouts releasing weekly following that.
Does this challenge include home and gym workouts?
This challenge requires minimal equipment and can be completed at home or in a gym.
What if I want to follow my own running plan?
No problem! Your BONUS: Strength Training For Runners Guide explains exactly how to combine these workouts with your existing schedule.
What style training can I expect?
Yes! Please read the guidelines below.
PREGNANCY: if you are at any stage of pregnancy and have received clearance for physical activity from your healthcare provider.
Depending how far along you are in pregnancy, some Level 2 and 3 movements may be restricted by your belly. Feel free to adjust or skip these movements as needed.
POSTPARTUM: if you are at least 6 weeks postpartum and have received clearance to return to physical activity from your healthcare provider.
For both pregnancy and postpartum, we recommend starting from Level 1 and progressing only as you feel comfortable. Levels are designed to be repeated, so you can master the technique before progressing your training.
How do I get access to the app?

Step 2: Wait for an email from “ANDA by Abby Pollock” (support@vhx.tv). This will include a “Start Watching” button where you can finish setting up your login info.
